L-asting pure delight
H-as been promised by the Lord;
A-fter obeying His will,
R-eward will He
A-ccord.
M-ay seventh morn is fine,
A-s the sun starts to rise;
R-ain and chill have turned
I-nto flame before your
E-yes.
S-hining dawn has broken,
U-nder the wide blue sky;
P-ure delight will surely be
R-eceived by you without a lie.
E-ternal life is in store,
M-ake sure to be steadfast;
O-vercome test and trial for they all will never last.
P-ure delight knows no tears,
E-verlasting joy feels no pain;
N-ights of loneliness
A-re not going to remain.
V-ictory is almost there,
E-fforts must not descend;
R-edouble them to attain
D-elight so pure without
E-nd.
