Purely Rose Poem by Laquory Jones

Purely Rose

Rating: 5.0

Verse 1
As I write this poem just know that
It's all love two embedded hearts
Within the soul sprouting flowers
From deep within the soil
As if in each relationship that you
Tend to water just been getting lost
Within the tidal waves
Just know that it's you that I
Always tend to crave and that I
Wouldn't have in any other way

Verse 2
I'm part of you and you're part of me
Richie said whole heartily
Look she has me talking in 3rd degree
As we embarked on this new journey
Of love two pieces of a heart forming
Into one that's when our journey had
Begun and I knew right then that
You'll always be my Moon and its Sun
You've become my addiction
My medicine and prescription
Take two doses of you embedded in
The inscription I'd be a fool not to
Listen it's you that I see in my visions

Chorus:
Holding onto you with a lock and key
I first found you within my dreams
If I'm Mozart then you must be my
Infinite symphonies
Time indefinitely
Yeah most definitely
It explained our longevity
Perhaps why I fall for you so heavily

Verse 3
What I wouldn't do to see you laughing
Merrily I wouldn't ever want to see you
Sad it breaks my heart deep inside
Many rivers I've flooded throughout
My life many regrets like when Romeo
Had lost his Juliet that's the stuff that
You could never forget we're living in
Darker times I struggle to see the
Silver line sometimes empty thoughts
Spreading their dark clouds upon my
Mind but I always tend to find that
Twinkle within your eyes always
Catching me just in the Knick of time

Verse 4
Remember when we were newlyweds
One man bending on a knee
I popped the question then the ring
Like when royalty finally finds a queen
Emotions become pure novelty
Thus the wedding bliss monopoly
Embedding deep in your psychology
I remember our first day
I became your Atlantis and
You were my Pompeii
Superman and Lois lane
Sugar Cane and Sweet sorghum
You're Jenny and I, Forrest Gump
I just knew that you'll always be
The one as I place a kiss upon your lips
Hoping tis day that you'll never forget

Chorus:
Holding onto you with a lock and key
I first found you within my dreams
If I'm Mozart then you must be my
Infinite symphonies
Time indefinitely
Yeah most definitely
It explained our longevity
Perhaps why I fall for you so heavily
