Give me some time
I’ll be a little better
Give me some hope
And I’ll be a little stronger
some advice
And I’ll be a little wiser
I’ll make my own decisions
I will walk in my own shoes
Give me some peace
And I will learn to relax
Give me some light
I will learn to see again
Lend me your voice
And I’ll find my words again
Just a moment
so that I can catch my breath
the world has moved too quickly
But I will not fall behind
Spare me a dollar
and I will pay my debt
Give me your thoughts
And I will rest my head
give me your tears
And I will let mine dry
Some purpose
And know that I will try
