Purposely Living Defying Facts Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Purposely Living Defying Facts

How unfortunate can it be,
With the advancement of technology.
And the availability of truth,
Anyone can research to discover...
Not only future possibilities.
But also the existence of truth to find it,
As is to be.
To openly discuss...
What is found to either accept or disbelieve.
Yet so many refuse,
They could be these days purposely deceived.
With a willingness to follow behind blindly,
Those who dupe, hoodwink to believe.
Without facts or evidence nowhere produced.
Although...
It is the image to have been created,
Many confirm and validate as seen in movies.
And on their wide screen TVs.
Is proof enough for them,
To persist and insist,
This to see everyday and easily...
Has more of a reality.
Than what has been scientifically researched.
Yet...
Less credible than what historically,
Refutes to dispute...
What they've deluded to fantasize,
All of their lives living in denial!
