Quest For Freedom Poem by Dr Dillip K Swain

In pursuit of utter freedom
You altered your trade at random
Tried nurturing your popularity,
They became jealous of it.
You went up in a profession,
Your equals caused the obstruction.
As you started making a profit,
Your associates became envious of it.

You stayed so honest and simple,
They jibed you and called you a fool.

You paid everything much attention,
Your mind sank into tension.
Variable decisions erased your freedom,
All your desires turned into oblivion.

Better it is to act as per your own will
God overhead will guide your zeal.
