Questions And - Poem by Garrett Doff

I did not understand many things
I did know the stress that may bring
But I didn't know how low
Didn't know how low I could go
To, full knowingly, deprive
Sons and Daughters of normal lives
To strip away godsent innocence
In only thinking of your benefits
This is to kill them yourself
And wake every night hating myself
Wanting to only erase
To not have disgraced
Only having one desire
To jump in the fire
And along with me goes my faults
Along with me goes my memories
With me gone, it comes to a halt
The storm that is me empties
Then my family will be one
