Questions On Body Fluids - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana
If tears could wipe away our footprints
Would sadness be an elixir?
If sweat can eclipse the hold of fate
Would toil be the hand of God?
If saliva can be an aphrodisiac
Would a kiss be the perfect prelude to the deeds of love?
If semen was a love portion?
Would every casual encounter be a confluence of destinies?
If blood was a binding glue and not an erect wall
Would color simply disappear?
