Quid Poem by Varsha M

A lot has changed in the world
Ever since it saw the first ray of sun
And humans never knew to utter a word.

On the soil of Great Britain
I realised this truth
Money changes value as you move through.

The paper like thing
With a mark of country precise
Plays the real game.

Rich man in my land
Is no more than a clochard
Unless he exchange his rand.

Quid of Britain rules nowhere
Unless value of money is dispose.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Very difficult one but still tried it. How money values only if we have an exchange value lest it's a waste paper only.
