If I crawl
I will stand up once again,
And if I fall
I will again rise with a grin.
If I heave
I will certainly continue on,
If I bleed
Then a bandage I will don.
If I sweat
I will smile and I will wipe it away,
If I regret
No! I won't, I will pray.
If I ache
I will clinch my fist and grit my teeth,
And if a bone I break
I will not seek a wreath.
If I get burnt
Perseverance I have been taught,
Victories I learnt
Quitting, I will not!
