Racism Poem by Silence Dogood

Racism

Whats with the world.
Whats going on.
Were all the same.
Just different coulors.

Do you have to call out names.
Or be a bad person.
To you have to be a bully.
Just because their not like you.

Compare your arm to mine.
Im sure their not the same.
Darker or lighter.
Are you going to hurt me.

So why will you hurt them.
When you do nothing to me.
Why do you trash their houses.
And make them feel ashamed.

Will you critize their religion.
When mine is different to.
Will you call them mean names.
And tell rumors and lies.

Because i got a name for you.
And it isnt all that pleasent.
But honestly speaking.
You are racist.

You judge by colour.
Religion to.
Yo dont care about the people.
Behind the different skin.

But we all have similarities.
The same organs inside.
So can you find your heart.
Cause I know you have it.

Feel their pain.
And know their like us.
Just different on the outside.
But the same within.

Blood runs in their veins.
And hair covers skin.
A Brain beneath the skull.
And a heart in their breast.

But still you judge
