Rain Poem by Robert Green

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Sliding down the window
Rivulets running down
Droplets chasing each other
To the ground below.

Shivering in the cool of the room
Looking out on the world
Book in lap
Memories to the fore

Rain now pelting on the glass
A soothing sound of future and past
Musical notes, the raindrops beat
Pounding out a song to your heart

Rain now so hard
The drops move up
Wash away your thoughts
Now you are mad.
