Dear Rain!
Really, you're like a woman
You drizzle love piously pristine
A dutiful daughter so loving
So soothing and refreshing
A healing touch from heaven
So transparent and clean
Thousand dreams like rainbows hidden within
An ever-supportive friend and sister you're
You mizzle fine cool drops of love solely pure
As a beloved you sometimes grizzle and complain
As if in need your lover's attention
As a mother with love supremely divine
You shower love from above so calming and benign
You replenish the milky rivers of maternity
That nourish flora and fauna, a supremely selfless duty
And bestow the earth with bounty of beauty
But when your existence is terribly shaken
With the callous and selfish act of indifferent humans
You take the form of terrifying torrential rain
With thunder storm and lightening your existence you proclaim
Uproot tall trees and devastate buildings
To teach a lesson to the careless human beings!
Dear Rain! Surely you are a woman
With a mellow heart so loving and caring!
