Heavy dark
clouds hang down
from the sky
everybody knows
its gonna rain
a real long time
the closer
the storm comes
the darker the clouds get
and everybody knows
its gonna rain
a real long time
the rain beats
on your window
the wind knocks
upon your door
its gonna
reel and rock your house
its gonna
flood the street
mother nature got a real
big voice
and she aint afraid
to speak
clouds cover up
the sun
and won't let it shine
and everybody knows
its gonna rain
a real long time!
