Rain Forest Of Loss And Grief Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Rain Forest Of Loss And Grief

Rhythms tapping, taking tempos in a synchronized beating
of the drums, guitars accompanying them in a lively and
exciting tempo.

Taking off, playing in a boisterous display of tones and
sounds that continually flow into displays of rainbow
colors that bring sunny dispositions into the night.

Treasuring and caressing the many moments of life and its
nature of humanity, crossing the threshold of daylight as
visions of tomorrow are directed into empty shadows.

Shadows that haunt memories of what life used to be once
upon a time, rinsing hearts with tears of loss as they
fall into the loneliness, emptiness and abandonment of loss.

Wandering, turning about, not knowing where to pick them-
selves up, losing sight of who they are in the scheme of
things while continuing to live in the rain forest of loss
and grief, nothing to save them from sorrow that will be
within depths of a breaking heart today and every day.
