Rainbows



There was a time
So long ago
When my soul was innocent
And I ran joyfully
Heart full of love
With childhood friends
Chasing for rainbow ends.

Now, only memories remain
Of sweet sunshine days
Family and friends
Love and happiness
Lost within time's relentless passing
Soul lonely and questing
Wondering what the future holds.
