Raindrop Poem by Ima Ryma

Raindrop

The raindrop fell in form of rime
Upon the slab of granite stone
In the freezing of Winter time.
And then did come the Spring time zone
When ice turned back to water so
The raindrop left the granite and
Began gravitational flow
Toward the sea as Summer time spanned.
In Autumn time the raindrop did
Evaporate into the sky
To drop again as nature bid,
And as the seasons would go by.

Next Winter time the raindrop be
Dropped not on stone but on a tree.
