Raindrops Keep Pouring Outside Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Raindrops Keep Pouring Outside

R-aindrops keep pouring outside
E-arly morn until the night;
Y-ou almost drown deep under the tears of wretched plight.

J-ust when the rain keeps pouring,
H-aving flooded low-lying area;
O-ne puts on his black boots,
N-o reason to fret in suburbia.

P-ouring rain outside causes
E-ither ecstasy or sadness;
R-unning water portrays both
A-lluring beauty and mess.
L-et twenty-eighth September
T-hrill you in a joy ride;
A-llowing you to be glad even if raindrops keep pouring outside.
