Rains! Poem by Soumyendu Biswas

Rains!

Rating: 5.0

The rain..
Sheets of grey froth
battering the unholy
city,

Puddles,
roadside streams
Flashfloods bearing down
relentlessly
Tearing down
Shantytown..

Drenched,
shivering souls

And it pours
It pours even more,
without the slightest
pity
