Rains Of Mercy Poem by Mohammad Younus

Rains Of Mercy

Rains of mercy stream
from the heavens above,
showering this Universe every day,
a ceaseless cascade of grace.
They hit the rocks and plains,
dancing on thirsty earth,
before flowing down to the sea,
where the tides whisper
'From me you originate
To me you have your return'.

The oceans, vast and unfilled,
The cradle of these rains,
Rising again to the sky,
An endless cycle of life.
From dancing waves they soar,
Misting into clouds above,
Who drift over the land,
Carrying the water of life.

They spill their showers generously,
For renewing life in the soil,
Stirring the seeds of manifestation.
In a veil of wonder, they journey,
Under the divine command,
In a sacred melodious rhythm,
Flowing in circular courses,
With each droplet a promise of Alast.

Such is the perpetual, ceaseless mercy,
Of the divine on all elements of existence,
And on humanity, who thrives on this
Divine embrace of grace,
For whose love He creates and recreates
All their necessities, to sustain their life.
Each rain a note in the symphony of life!
A song of love from the gracious lord!
