an investigation into psyche discarding excuses
ego superego and id an examination of feelings
emotions excuses stripped bare to cause to effect
chosen being was sought found raised up followed
all power vote bestows upon winning choice brakes
there were none choices stripped away sly autocrat
molasses eye candy promises never were free tasted.

People hold power accountable dirty state secrets kept
behind closed doors tolerate no more swept under carpet
examine heart soul of pretender to power forget party lines
opponents demonized violence hate-filled partisan politics
power hungry crazed minds hold trial reaffirm a golden scroll
best choice for peace is humble Mahatma freedom shared goal.
