Mehul Singh

Rookie (a Galaxy far, far away)

Rambling - Poem by Mehul Singh

over the hills and along the sky
a lonely bird with wings spread wide
singing as it flies
shoot me if you like

the gentle whisper of the trees
unheard
cries out to the flying bird

alas the bird replies
i'm too high
i'm too high

i can see heaven and it beckons
and still i have one question unanswered
and it cant end this way

what if heaven was actually with the tree of the earth.
