Reactive Rushes Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Reactive Rushes

So many of us,
Have become too familiar...
To rush to re-act.
In the hope the doing of it,
Proves a concern.
Noticeable enough to claim,
Our feelings of sincerity.
And our caring for others to give.

Few remain pro-active.
And always prepared...
With caring to prove dependable.
Without sincerity to suspect but accept,
For what it is shown and known to be.
There to not be proven.
But a way of life to live it.
