Read And Remembered Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Read And Remembered

Popularity is an empty fame
A momentary recognition,
Just a sleek label to a name,
Passing Time brings oblivion.

Poets who write with good Substance
Read and remembered for their thoughts
Whose lines ignite some remembrance
Are those whose messages are sought.

Beyond the present years of writing
Words they wrote mark their worth,
Readers still find there new meaning
Like treasures found, these thoughts go forth.
