Reality Czech
His journey started many moons back
at the shores of a North African coast
Out of a dire need of necessities he lacked
crossed frontiers so hot he felt like toast
He knew he was unwanted
Like a rabid animal he would be hunted
those that had erased his way of life
showing morbid dislike
not understanding he was simply after that which they forcibly took
In their book
These were unwelcome intruders
So they rounded them up like groupers
Never reported
but deported
When human rights watchers
went to sleep with dispatchers
or looked the other way
on that day
They opened fire
in ire
Or simply left the dinghy
to float till sharks had dinner.
He made it
roughed up a bit
put in a concentration camp
like on a slave ship suffered cramps
Escaped
and gaped
All the way to Eastern Europe
where they gave you hope
Then came the war in Ukraine
he was refused to board a train
Left to cry
and die
all alone
faraway frome home
Being refused
seeking refuge
even in a church
in a Reality Czech.
