Ready

Experience is not always the best teacher
Past experiences being a future hindrance
Holding me back in memory of the pain i felt
Even when a good thing stands in plain sight
Precious time is wasted ruminating
Wondering what's wrong and right.
Good old gut feel relegated to the last resort
And yet, most opportunities come to fruition when you dive in
Make decisions on a whim
As they say who dares wins
As long as you can swim.

Self doubt occupies my life's pie chart
Little devilish voices telling me i am not so smart
Even after analysis upon analysis
To the extent of proverbial paralysis
I still wonder whether i am doing the right thing
Despite what i feel.
This December twenty twenty one
I have to make a life changing decision on my own
Me against the world
Without saying a word
The rumination is palpable
Not wanting to be culpable

Butterflies flutter
Mind spluttering
Whatever happens
Decision day harkens
December tenth twenty twenty one
I will stand under the sun
Make decisions
Hopeful with precision.
Well, humanoids
See you on the other side annoyed
Or with goodwill

I won't care what you feel
Whatever
Forever
I will have to live with the fallout
Of whatever decision i roll out.
I am steady
I am ready.

Who dares wins brings back memories, but it is true of live. You have to face and overcome life's obstacles. Good luck! !

Thank you RMS. I must say at 77 now turning 78 you had it easy making good decisions. Keep well.
