Realization Yesterday Is A Closed Book Poem by Terence George Craddock

Realization Yesterday Is A Closed Book

the realization that yesterday
is a closed book
which cannot be changed;
makes the realization
that today and tomorrow
are still possibilities;
where we can influence
sometimes write the endings;

experience teaches a certain look
in the eyes of people best avoided;
eyes of sincerity kindness integrity
are testament these people incredibly;
have a proverbial heart of gold
make good sincere faithful friends;

smile at adversity when havoc strikes
if you find yourself suddenly drowning;
embrace chances to make time sometimes
to do a few small things important;
this is enough for each day; never loose
aspects of a childlike mind a little fresh;
wonder can make ordinary intriguing
children should not have all the fun;

stay beautiful be happy Georgia you will
always have a friend or two waiting;
around life's hidden unseen corner
knowing where we do not want to be;
makes finding where we should be
a little easier seize own write a future;
