Reason for smiling

Of late
I thought of fate
Was it sealed forever?
Till I heard a word little alter

"I am here" I looked around
But she was not found
I rubbed eyes and ascertained
When she was kept in chain

Everything was perfectly right
I had no reason to delight
She was heard from distance
I breathed heavily at once

Love should not take place
Between different races
Forget about religion and bond
It was nicely aligned

I will not name
But may claim
Purity in feeling
I have no reason for smiling
