Rebel Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Rebel

Though mortal I may be
I shall break before I bend upon a knee
No god or living beast
None, shall prevail before I feast
Nor I to pray or beg
By any name ever spoken
Mine shall always remain

For I am my god; My destiny
I am, and therefore 'Is' only mine
Then when I am no more it will be written
'He died as he lived;
'Here, ' the rebel lies'
