Recipe For Love - Poem by Ruth Walters

A pinch of seasoning
for flavour,
a little sauce for fun
and lots of laughs.
Mix with a medley of
soft spoken adorations,
simmer and stir gently.

Don't leave too long,
stir and heat slowly,
never over stew,
add interest with
a teaspoon of spice,
unwarranted affection
and rose petals.

Beautiful piece elegantly brought forth in style with insight. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Ruth. (Report) Reply

Can you add some port, Cadbury's rum and raisin dark chocolate, ginger, chilies, poetry and any food with grea flavour and I'll be there. Also art, picnics, Bbqs, travelling and fun. What a great idea as a recipe for love, live a love potion but better because it relies upon effort and not too much magic. (Report) Reply
