Reclaiming Innocence Poem by Sonya Annita Song

Reclaiming Innocence

Concealed, a lustrous lily blooms
Deep in your attic secretly
And guards the innocence you lost
While hibernating patiently
Until a day when you can see
That what was lost can be reclaimed
And even faith that was destroyed
Can plant new seeds with wilted shame.
