Redeeming The Win Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Redeeming The Win

Redeeming The Win

Can't believe that the Orlando sun
Had spoiled all that was so much fun
The mo(u) rning of Canada's loss
To the USA's golden toss

The best team did not win
We were deprived of sin
President Trump's cursin'
Made sinners then win

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Although I'm usually a graceful loser, please permit me the discretion of being a poor loser this time. The USA team had 7 players on the ice and no penalty? A Canada player had his tooth knocked out and no penalty? This brings a whole new meaning to poor officiating!
