Referring The Bible Poem by Randy McClave

Referring The Bible

(THE BEGINNER)
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights
Then the stars showed their heavenly lights,
There were 2 of each animals on the Ark
Then one day the Captain yelled, "HARK! ".
Up ahead the Captain had seen green land
As though presented to him by God's mighty hand,
Upon the land the Ark then rested
As though as God himself had requested.
Then as the Captain prepared to lead the animals off two by two
There came a voice screaming, "Stay on your Ark or we will sue! ",
"Immigrants are not wanted or welcomed here! "
Then to another country for green land the Captain did steer.

(THE JOURNEY)
Leaving slavery and brutality to freedom they all went
Going to a new land by God they were all sent,
They were then lost in the desert for over fourty years
No one would could ever count their sadness or their tears.
From slavery and bondage they all became free
One day as promised by God a great country they would see,
Then up ahead a beautiful, plentiful land they all spied
With joy and happiness they fell to their knees and cried.
Then as they came closer to cross the border
On a rock ahead of them they saw a "NO ENTRY" order,
Then they all heard the residents of that country shout
"You all are Ilegal immigrants, so stay out! ".

(REVELATIONS)
A great Son one day had appeared
Inside the great country where others had feared,
The people stood for racism, bigotry and the power of men
And being a rapist and a liar and a bully was a win.
He saw the poor and the hungry begging for food
He then saw the treatment of others as heartless and lewd,
The wealthy were becoming more powerful and greedy
The gullible blamed their problems on the immigrants and the needy.
With their beliefs and teachings the Son began to grapple
People were tricked and deceived as his child was with the Apple,
The Son then looked at his wrists then he became grieving
He then told his mighty father, "This Country I am leaving! ".
