When through a vertical crack
In my window a streak of ray
Enters into my room and sleep
As a lazy lass on the cold floor;
You must come out with your
Hair trailing behind in wind
And release fragrance of youth
Opening up your heart as a flower;
The persistence click of latch
Would drag me out from bed
And clinks of your anklets send
Amusing notes to the surly birds;
You must throw a smile at cloud
That tarries to catch a glimpse of
Of an angel with reserved hills
All around stand like rude guards;
Murmuring of a nearby stream
With its perennial flow down to
The point where from a stretch of
Verdant green just about meet the sky;
You must with your soft embrace
Gather the immensity of an existence
In your heart and to every tiny being
That seeks love you should not deny.
