Refuge Poem by Stella Aurora Sarchez Gerodias

When hope is over from long been waiting,
and search is drifted from long been seeking,
What else is left for me to see?
My eyes won’t wake.

When dreams are seem to shatter away
and love brings countless pain in me
what else is left for me to fins out?
All the rest is gone

Should I believe what's ahead of me
or should I stay and wait for awhile?
Should I keep the faith inside of me
or let each day forever gone?

Searching still... waiting for refuge,
like a helpless child dreaming of a home...
or a restless soldier between colliding stones
somehow I lose in this battle alone.

I guess i just have to live for today
and forget all the worries behind
at least you're here to keep me company,
my only refuge to where I've been gone.
