Refugee Landscape Differential Poem by Terence George Craddock

Refugee Landscape Differential

flesh
warmed
fire lit

well fed
far souls
starved

no chance
saviour words
well founded

to dwell delight;

politicians
play refugee
problem crisis

indifference
blind eye
cold turned

unless need sleight
of hand popularity
poll collapse rating

demands;

staged lip service
we suddenly care
rhetoric image shift

refugees continue
to cold disease landscape
starvation destitute die

politicians continue
resource wealth oil war
global politics pledges

refugees displaced starve die;
