In twilight's grasp, where shadows softly creep
I wander through the echoes of your name
Each whispered sigh, a promise buried deep
Yet love, like fleeting light, ignites the flame.

The days unfold, like petals bruised and torn
Your laughter lingers, haunting in its grace
I trace the lines of joy now steeped in scorn
And find the warmth of memory's embrace.

But time, a thief, in silence claims its due
And leaves behind a heart, a hollow shell
The dreams we spun now fade to shades
of blue

Regret, a phantom, weaves its solemn spell
For in the loss, I learn what love reveals
A tender ache that time alone conceals.
