Relief Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Relief

The man is lean and old.
He is shivering with cold.
Wearing the ragged cloth and holding it tightly
He is trying desperately to survive from the winter's rage.
Yonder some boys are enjoying the warmth of fire,
The man approaches there,
The boys welcome him heartily
And he gets relief beside the fire eventually.
Finally the man expresses his gratitude to them and realizes,
Adversity may come in life,
But fortune also waits at the corner to relieve.
