Remains Of The Sun Poem by Ro Price

Remains Of The Sun

Rating: 5.0

Farewell
Remains of the sun
for you were the warmth
bringing stories from afar.
Birth of a soul, dreamwalkers
and the changing hearts.
Where have you gone
impossible sun
Nightly snow
of the white forest
Longing for the
memories lost
of abundance of heart
and the summer warmth.
Daring to dream
on the eagles wings,
how do i breakaway
from these icy reigns?
Night butterflies
beauty untamed
lost somewhere
in the
tears of rain.
Farewell
impossible sun
The white forests awaits.
Warmth drowned in its
gravity of 'love'.
Remains of the sun
lost in this nightly snow,
bonds of joy,
chains of frozen tears
in this prickly snow....
