Remember Poem by Jorelyn Leonard

Remember

Rating: 3.5

A smile for the love you still bring
Tears for the pain that lingers
A sigh for the memories that sing
A glimpse of your face in the embers

A ray of light to remind me
A butterfly to tell me to fly
The water's depths to help me see
And know it is okay to cry

This is a very sad poem! You did a great job through your use of imagery to show us your pain. It's a nice poem and I'm so very sorry!

I'm glad it has reached you in this way as I wrote this for my younger brother who has passed. I am sorry that it has made you sad though but thank you for reading.
