Remember In November Poem by Randy McClave

Remember In November

Always think and then remember
Our true retribution arrives in November,
Reflect back to the promises made
And maybe the lies and corruption in which they wade.
With guns and violence we must not smote
Our true revenge comes when we vote.

Have we paid for their services long enough
Are we tired of them pretending to be tough,
Are we sick of the laws that they have passed
Or of the fortunes, that they have greedily amassed.
Then the lies and the evils that they will not admit
But, for one, I will not forget.

If they have brought you either worries or fears
Then don't give then 6, or even another 4 more years,
Remember, by you and me they were all hired
And then also by you and me, they will be fired.
So, please look back and think and then remember
Our waited retribution always arrives in November.
