Remember Part Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Why ideas rush in abundance?
I feel surprised at once
Not more but in good number
The poems strike in mind and appear

I feel so elated
As it is quite related
With sufferings of people
And always remind me of their struggle

Why am I always alert?
Live fully alive and insert
Their plight and agony
That was not intended by an almighty

We, human beings, could rush
To their rescue and push
All that was not good for humanity
We could remove as per capability

Centuries have witnessed
The emergence of dark faces
The slavery was just another blot
The freedom struggle was severely fought

People witness bloodbath
As it needed sacrifice on path
Many young people embraced death
So that we could easily breathe

I try to remember their part
And put down in form of an art
Their eyes shedding tears
For all of us to remember and bear
