Reminded Of Summer Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Walking through winter, mind in the clouds, keeping warm
with music, it's rhythms soothing and teasing with many
thoughts of the warmth of summer.

Being reminded of the temperature, well over one hundred
degrees, sweating day and night, yet loving the very ex-
perience of it.

Awaiting the reality of summer with bated breath, hoping
it comes along sooner than expected, yet not really mind-
ing the cold too much as long as I stay indoors.
