Reminders Of Love In Childhood Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Reminders Of Love In Childhood

Looking through cards from holiday and event of yesterday,
bringing tears to mind when one is from my parents who've
been gone for years.

Loving to hold these little mementos, reminders of all the
love that I had once long ago, reminiscing about wonder
and awe of childhood through the memories of those cards.

Treasures that I've cherished through sixty-seven years,
the first one being a card for my first Easter, I was a
year old.

A fantastic album of the years of my life now saved here
in this little poem for all to read all over the world,
hoping to bring a smile to people's faces.
