Renesse Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Renesse

Renesse, see, seen, seer;
Of the lover's Psalms and the miner's games,
With a bottle of wine in your hand!
However, i am well taught to become your lover.

The muse of illegal lust!
With the bread of adversity;
And, the water of affliction,
However, do walk along the narrow path of the truth to meet my love.

Rain for the season and,
Bread from your increase;
However, do seek for the truth like the rivers and the streams of love.

The muse of illegal lust!
As fat as grease in th eland of trouble;
But, i will always find a way to touch your heart with my sweet words,
because, i am well taught to become your lover.
