Resemblence Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Resemblence

Rating: 5.0

When i saw him, i thought it was Corporal Haggis!
What a resemblence at this hour of the day;

Only his black spot could make the difference,
However, the springboard of my hope will always lead me on.

Mansfield's letters told me enough,
Like the golden pen with me;
Into a Chop-Bar's file and, a house-mate's room!

To sail the ocean at times to meet the truth,
Like the seal of love with the works of joy.

Let wisdom be your best friend,
Faceless, homeless, childless and restless! !
Chasing the dragon to learn the trade.
