Resist or Accept

Nothing changes
except we manage
war or no war
the peace is illusory and very far

no amount of arguments work
no amount of conciliatory words create magic
it is our basic approach
that reaches to the shore of peace

we have learnt nothing from the past
and have lasted with greed, jealousy and trust
what should we try as a must?
We are losing the sacredness of the trust

rivalry and expansion remain the drawbacks
each nation stakes for old glory
territory lost or ceded is claimed back as a precondition for peace
this is how the situation has arrived at an unease

this mentality shall not disappear
rather create fear
in the minds of small nations
to resist or accept the rationale

we have enough at the disposal
for the smooth arrival of death and destruction
it depends on nations
how do they take on expansion?
