Telengana is a state in India. The State Government recently dismissed about forty eight thousand employees -i.e., nearly 90 percent of its workforce. The reason put forth by Government is that the workers are putting forth unrealistic demands on the management. The workers feel, the Government's hidden agenda is to privatize the public transport system. The agitation is going on for last 15 days. Without public transport, the general public are put to undue hardship. Talks till now has not made any headway.
