Resounding Messages Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Resounding Messages

Band playing, guitars being strummed slowly, not
sounding so great, drummer beating his drums in-
discriminately, going faster than the guitars.

When looking at this display, seeing it looks out
of synch with what everything else is holding onto,
wasting precious time with irrelevant rhythms.

Taking away from melody's intense sounds, providing
nothing to lean back upon, sending a resounding
message of a dull and inaccurate rhythm.

One that would sound much better if played at a
faster than normal tempo, cannot write anymore be-
cause it just doesn't sound cohesive or in synch
at all.
