'' Respect Is What Their Work Commands ''

I wrote a song,
It didn't take long,
To sing it, who will be willing,
The lyrics are strong,
It could win a gong,
If it does, then I'll make a killing.

A touch of the blues,
Does enthuse,
Though others might say Hip Hop,
Different cues,
Do tend to amuse,
It could well go to the top.

When it's played,
It will make the grade,
This is just too good to ignore,
What I've conveyed,
Will create a cascade,
With the world, I'll create a rapport.

Now it needs to air,
It's time to share,
The music world this will enhance,
But I feel despair,
Does nobody care,
Why won't they give me a chance.

Those who decide,
My work they deride,
Without even telling me why,
Though deep inside,
I maintain my pride,
I walk into a corner and cry.

Millions of creators,
Song and poetry theatres,
See their works disappear in the sands,
To these word generators,
The true speculators,

‘' Respect Is What Their Work Commands ‘'
