Rest In Peace Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Rest In Peace

Rest in peace

Hey, daddy, I love you
-always will
-as must, should

Yes, there are high times too
-then when I criticize
-my being in this world for that night
-you and mom…

I was not
-unaware
-non-exist

You made me for your fun
-sex, greed…whatever…
-I do not reason, cause…
-done is done and gone, gone

I love you for what I
-remember and recall
-you were my best friend
-father and a teacher and mentor
-can even see you as playmate

Oh, daddy I miss you
-with much love
-ocean is too small, world of love
-pristine streams, galaxies
-it is fresh, and running
-clear and lively

Do you know I live in Canada?
-think of you; here too
-everywhere, even in the liver
-the liver of the cow! ! ! …
-remember? You recall?
-you told me how to live like the cow's?
- "The cow had no liver; piece are donations! "
-yes daddy, we vary, people are different
-First nations, black, white, and others, together
-this is how you looked at cow's liver and people

A lovely letter to your father, an extremely beautiful work, I never knew my biological father, so it is heartening to read this.
